Yazd province is one of the historical provinces of Iran, which is known as the first mud- brick city, the second most historic city of the world after the city of Venice inItaly.
Yazd province with the center of Yazd, north of Isfahan, east of South Khorasan, south to Kerman and west to Shiraz, Mehriz, cloud and Meybod are among the cities of Yazd.The weather is warm and dry because of being located in vicinity of desert but when it comes to temperature , the mountain regions are essentially pleasant.
In the meantime, the oldest mud-brick building of the world is located in Yazd province, and it is called Narin Castle or Kohandeh which has been built on an ancient hill overlooking the entire city and surrounding in Meybod,however, people are of the opinion that there is no older building than this in Iran.From the historical point of view there are several monuments and historical villages in Yazd that we can suggest to visit as following:

Yazd wind-cathers
One of the most popular attractions of Yazd province is is its wind towers. Indeed, the tallest and most unique wind turbine of the world can be found only in Yazd province. This is just in Dowlatabad Garden of Yazd which dates back to Zand dynasty. This wind- catcher is a sample of the Zand era architecture , is a well-defined octagonal property that makes the winds easily and quickly directed to the bottom of it .Later on it touches the surface of the water of the pool under the tower, Cool the air of inside the building. Along with this garden sorrow, this garden was long known as the residence of Karim Khan Zand in Yazd, and is regarded as one of the most beautiful gardens of the Zandieh and Qajar dynasties.

Amir Chamaq Square
The palm tree of Amir Chakmmaq Square is the oldest wooden palm of Iran with 450 years of life belonging to the Safavid era. The height of the palm is 8.5 meters and its sides are 8.5 in 8.5 meters. The Yazdi citizens are scheduled to perform the anniversary of funeral ceremony Imam Hussein which is known as Ashura. The palm is rolled over by 150 people to symbolize its special ceremony, for the release of Shi’a and the third innocent.

Garden of Dowlat Abad Yazd
Mohammad Taqi Khan, known as the great Khan who was the ruler of Yazd in Zand dynasty, initially created a Qavandi called Dowlat Abad, after which he built the “Dowlat Abad Garden” along it. This building has been the used as his residency with his royal family.
This building is a collection of several mansions including: vestibule and win-catcher room, paradise of the ritual, the mirror hall, the main courtyard and the south porch. The greenery of this garden includes pine trees, cedar, roses orchards, fruit trees and pomegranates. The strongest reason to visit such as Pavilion is the tallest wind-catcher of the world by about 34 m height.

The four-thousand-year-old cypress tree of Abarkuh can be called the world’s oldest living creature.

The Ice House marbles
This Ice house date back to the Qajar period, is one of the few remaining Ice house of Yazd which has been built out of wattle and daub. The huge dome of this Ice house keeps the accumulated ice that was used by the caravans and people during the summer.

Fire Templein Yazd
The fire temple building with a beautiful architecture derived from the architecture of the Achaemenid is located in the center of the big and green courtyard, and the establishment of the mansion is the fore hare.The significance of the fire temple is the flame has been burning non-stop for 1500 years.
