Bishapur

Bishapur is one of the most ancient cities of Iran, located in Fars Province and Kazeroon. During the Sassanid era, after the victory of Shapur I on Valerian, the Emperor of Rome, Bishapur ordered the city to build a city in a cool weather zone on the way to Persepolis. (This road during the Achaemenids, the cities of Persepolis and the pool Connected to Susa), and the architecture of the old Syria, called Apasa, was chosen to build the new city.
Bishapur city consists of two main parts:
-The Royal Citadel includes the Indigenous Works such as Anahita Temple, Shapour Hall, Mosaic Mosque, Valerian Palace.
-The public area includes: residential houses, baths, caravanserals and markets.
