ALI QAPU
The Ali Qapu palace is well-known palaceall over Iran. The name Aali Qapu,from Arabic Aali, “Imperial or Great”, and Turkic Qapu meaning”gate It was used as a residential palace. ShahAbbas the great, ordered to construct the palace on the site of palace andgarden from the Timurid time. Shah Abbas’s palace was a four floors with averanda. Shah Abbas the second, expandedthe palace and a music hall (room) was constructed on the top of palace.
The palace is about 38 meters high,the tallest building in the 17thcentury.
Shah Abbas, here for the first timecelebrated the Nowruz (New Year’s Day) of 1597.

The Vank Cathedral is one of the largestand spectacular church of Iran, its belong to about 350 years ago.In there youcan see gorgeous fusion of Armenian and Islamic architecture.everywhere thereis amazing and brilliant color,Interior of Vank Cathedral is a true masterpieceof art, representing frescos, carvings, and tiles. The architecture of the building is amixture of the safavid style (17th-century),with hight arches and Islamic-styledome.All of the paintings are the work ofArmenian craftsmen, who learnt their craft in Europe and were obviouslyinfluenced by Dutch and Italian masters.

Chehel Sotoun Palace
Chehel Sotoun Palace and its royal gardenare one of the ancient sites of Isfahan. The construction and establishment ofthis admirable palace date back to Safavid Era in 1588. The initial plan ofthis garden and monument was designed when Shah Abbas, the first king ofSafavid Empire, opted Isfahan as the capital city. He decides to build up along street, calling it Chahar Bagh (the four gardens), and develop some gardensin it. The immense halls of this palace used to be the selected places forofficial feasts of the country. After his reign was over, Shah Abbas II made aconsiderable attempt to perfect this masterpiece. The Chehel Sotoun Palace isamong the nine Iranian Gardens which are registered as one of the Iran’s 17World Heritage Sites.
The name, “Forty Columns,”was inspired by the twenty slender wooden columns supporting the entrancepavilion, which, when reflected in the waters of the fountain, are said toappear to be forty.
The palace has many frescoes andpaintings on ceramic.

Si-o-Se-Pol, also known as Allahverdi Khan Bridge, is one of the eleven Isfahan
bridges, crossing Zayandehrud River. It is the most famous bridge of Isfahan
due to its size, central location, and prominent architecture. The bridge is a
attracts both Iranians and foreign tourists.
The bridge is 300 meters long and 14 meters wide.
